Milbrae Rebranding
A Letter to Our Customers and Suppliers
It has been nearly four years since Chris and Brett Woods sold their Milbrae business to E. B. Mawson and Sons Pty Ltd. During this time the Milbrae and Mawsons’ company logos have been used side-by-side while the gradual process of merging the two businesses has steadily progressed. In the Milbrae markets, we have operated since October 2021 as “E. B. Mawson and Sons Pty Ltd trading as Milbrae Concrete, Quarries and Mining Services”.
We have now reached a point in the integration process where our branding can easily become common. The Milbrae Precast brand will remain as is but going forward other Milbrae branding on equipment, corporate documents, promotional materials and site signage etc will transition to Mawsons-only logos and livery.
Our formal operating name across all sites will be “E. B. Mawson and Sons Pty Ltd trading as Mawsons Concrete and Quarries” as it is elsewhere in NSW and Victoria. We will continue to offer mobile crushing, screening, concrete and drilling services to the mining and construction industries under the “Mawsons Concrete and Quarries” brand.
Most importantly, the people who are Milbrae will remain in their current roles and continue, as they have done since 2021, as Mawsons’ people, part of one combined team. Phone numbers, email addresses, account numbers and titles are unchanged. Existing Milbrae quotes will be honored. New quotes from the same sites for the same range of products and services will now be issued under the Mawsons brand. From a customer and supplier perspective, the switch to one brand should only have a visual impact as our purchase order and payment processes will also remain unchanged.
